LAS LEÑAS WINTER CENTER IN MENDOZA
To give you more precise details of this Winter Center, we tell you that Las Leñas has a ski domain of 65 km and 14 means of elevation that allow access to about 29 ski and snowboard slopes; classified in beginners, intermediates, advanced and experts.
Additionally, it has the longest uninterrupted descent in Argentina with 7500 meters, connecting the Apollo, Neptune and Venus tracks. It also has a 150 m “Terrain park” with jumps, pears and railings ideal for those who want to snowboard and practice stunts.
As if that weren’t enough, Las Leñas has the peculiarity of being the highest ski resort in Argentina, since it is located 2222 meters above sea level, giving us a summit at 3430 meters by sea level.
As far as snowfall in the area is concerned, do not worry if the snow season is not very abundant (although the annual average is 15 cm at the base, 60 cm at the intermediate level and 2 meters at the summit), since this place has 30 canyons along the whole mountain to make snow. Which means the slopes are always in perfect condition for activities.
That said, it should be noted that it is an ideal winter center for family walks. Besides having tracks for all ages and experience levels, it offers many activities for children and boys (Adventure Park!) including the ski school.
