There are two options for traveling to Mendoza by land. It can be by bus or car:

The Mendoza Bus Terminal, also known as “Terminal del Sol”, is one of the most important and with the most busses in Argentina. This is because Mendoza is one of the cities with the largest population in the country and one of the cities that receives the most travelers, both indoors and outdoors.

If you plan to travel by own or private car, you should know that the route from CABA or Buenos Aires to the city of Mendoza is very simple. Leaving Buenos Aires through the west access to the end, you take National Route No. 7 that leads –directly– to the city of Mendoza.

GO TO MENDOZA BY AIR
Getting to the province of Mendoza by air, from the main cities of the country or from abroad, is the fastest way to do it. For this, the province has mainly two airports: San Rafael (AFA) and Mendoza (MDZ), the latter being –without comparison– the busiest.
- El Plumerillo International Airport (MDZ): located on National Route No. 40, 11 km from the city of Mendoza, in Las Heras Department. It is one of the most important air terminals in Argentina. It serves travelers from the Cuyo region and neighboring countries, mainly through three airlines:
- Aerolíneas Argentinas/Austral: operates with several daily flights that connect Buenos Aires with Mendoza, and also weekly frequencies that connect this city with others inland.
2. FLYBONDI: this low cost airline connects Buenos Aires with Mendoza several times a week, using el Palomar Airport as its base.
3. SKY AIRLINES: connects Santiago de Chile with Mendoza through several weekly frequencies.

- Assistant Santiago Germano Airport (AFA): it is located 8 km north of the center of San Rafael, next to Provincial Route No. 143 and 232 km (south of the provincial capital). This cabotage airport has direct flights with the Jorge Newbery Aeropark, and the only regular and commercial airline that arrives at the moment it’s Aerolíneas Argentinas, with several flights per week.
